1. When do our sales conditions apply?

These purchase conditions apply to all quotations and agreements relating to the sale and delivery of products by Porters Antwerp. Deviations from these terms are only valid if agreed in writing with Porters Antwerp.

2. Conditions for entering into an agreement

You guarantee that the information you provide to Porters Antwerp when placing an enquiry or order is accurate and complete.

3. How is an agreement concluded?

After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation by email from Porters Antwerp, including an order number, details of the purchased products, and any delivery services.
The sales agreement is only final once you receive an email from Porters Antwerp confirming all order details.

All products remain the property of Porters Antwerp until full payment has been received for all amounts due under any agreement, including costs, previous or subsequent deliveries, or partial deliveries.
All orders are subject to acceptance by Porters Antwerp, and we reserve the right to refuse any order.

Possible reasons for refusing your order include:

  • Payment authorisation was not approved

  • Products shown on the website are not available

  • Shipping restrictions apply to a product

  • Products on the website contain an obvious error, such as an incorrect price or description

4. Warranty, quality and product maintenance

We provide the following warranties:

  • 2 years on furniture

  • 2 years on decorative items

Porters Antwerp accepts no liability for direct or consequential damages. Minor colour differences and other variations in products may occur due to differences in image capture, display technology, or other technical reasons. We are not liable for such differences.

Please refer to the cleaning, installation, and maintenance instructions provided on the product information page (www.portersantwerp.com). Read these carefully before cleaning or installing your purchased goods. Porters Antwerp is not liable for damage caused by incorrect use, including actions contrary to these instructions.

Each product is handmade and therefore unique. No two products are identical.

5. Cancellation of your order

From the moment you receive our order confirmation, it is no longer possible to cancel your order.

6. Price

Porters Antwerp reserves the right to change prices at any time.
For all webshop orders placed by end consumers, shipping costs apply.

7. Payment methods

For all webshop payments made by end consumers, payment will be charged to your card immediately upon placing the order.

Card and fraud checks are performed automatically, including address verification. Your details may be forwarded to an external party for fraud prevention purposes.

Invoices for completed purchases can be requested afterwards via info@portersantwerp.com.

8. Delivery

For all webshop orders, Porters Antwerp delivers to the address provided by you. Delivery is only possible to residential or business addresses, not to PO boxes.

Deliveries take place on business days that are not public holidays in your country or in the region where our distribution centre is located. Delivery times are indicative and not strict deadlines. Exceeding the delivery time does not entitle you to compensation.

Delivery of furniture will be scheduled in consultation with the customer.
Furniture will be delivered indoor, but to ground floor level only. Final location of delivery has to be easy accesible.
The deliverer has the right to refuse delivery if the place of delivery requires special treatment/ action, without refund of shipping cost.

If an order consists of multiple products, Porters Antwerp may consolidate the items for delivery but reserves the right to split the delivery at no additional cost to the customer.

If, before concluding the agreement, Porters Antwerp discovers that a product is no longer available, we may offer you an equivalent alternative in terms of quality, price, and function. You are not obliged to accept this.
If delivery becomes impossible after the agreement has been concluded, we will refund all amounts paid.

9. Complaints

All complaints must be submitted by email or via the contact form on our website within the legal period of 14 days after receipt of the goods.

Returned products are inspected by Porters Antwerp and refunded or replaced in the event of a manufacturing defect or deviation from the specifications.

Upon receipt of a valid return, Porters Antwerp will refund the full purchase price. If the withdrawal is reported within the legal 14-day period, the full purchase price will also be refunded.

Return transport costs will be deducted from the refund. Refunds are made using the same payment method as the original purchase. If the product is damaged due to your actions, Porters Antwerp may deduct the reduction in value. You can avoid this by not using the products and handling them carefully.

We do not refund products:

  • If the return is made outside the legal 14-day period

  • Not in the original packaging

  • Purchased through a source other than our website

  • Damaged due to misuse or negligence (see section 4: Warranty, quality and product maintenance)

  • Damaged due to improper or unintended use

10. Return guidelines

Given the specific nature of our products, all returns are organised by Porters Antwerp.
To arrange a return, please send an email to info@portersantwerp.com. You will be contacted within 3 working days with further instructions.

Procedure:

  1. Send an email to info@portersantwerp.com including your original order confirmation or invoice.

  2. Porters Antwerp will confirm receipt within 3 working days and arrange transport.

  3. You will be contacted by Porters Antwerp or the transport company to schedule collection.

  4. After inspection in our warehouse, you will receive your refund.
    Note: the conditions in Article 10 apply.

11. Disputes

In the event of disputes relating to this agreement or invoices, the Courts of Antwerp shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
However, the seller reserves the right to submit the dispute to the court of the debtor’s place of residence.
