Country Manor

From Colour Advice to Complete Project

One of our partners introduced us to this client, who was initially looking for colour advice for their newly built home.
Thanks to the perfect synergy between the client and Porters Antwerp, the colour consultation evolved into a full-scale project - one that continues to grow and develop.

A Smooth Collaboration

The client already had a clear vision of her dream interior and had selected several inspiring colours. Our role was to bring unity and calm to this abundance of tones. During the consultation, a spontaneous connection developed, leading her to ask us to design the entire manor.
To emphasise the home’s country character, the front door was crafted in a type of oak that naturally weathers over time. The staircase and interior doors were softly patinated, and a special façade technique was applied to create the impression of aged limewash that has gently faded through the years.
Inside, we used patchwork and artisanal finishes to add depth and personality - the client wanted a slightly bolder touch. We shared our techniques, allowing her to breathe new life into her grandparentsfurniture by patinating and reupholstering them herself.
The sauna was designed in a Moroccan-inspired style, evoking a feeling of intimate retreat, while the bedroom embraced an eclectic warmth with rich red accents.
We also completed the swimming pool and pool house in the same pastoral spirit.
