Forgotten Painting Techniques
For this project, Porters Antwerp focused on forgotten painting techniques, experimenting with patinas, lime finishes and trompe-l’œil.
Aged mouldings add dimension and grandeur, evoking the quiet splendour of a centuries-old manor house. Together, they create a “ruin style” - layered with texture, character and timeless beauty.
An Elegant Balance
The soft colour palette of the rooms is enhanced by luxurious fabrics and refined patinas on the furniture, all handcrafted in the Porters Antwerp workshop.
Ornate chandeliers and antique pieces introduce a subtle contrast, creating a harmonious balance between sophistication and warmth.
